This year’s edition of the AOB concluded!
Twenty-five projects were submitted for this year’s edition of the Academic Open Budget. The project with the highest number of votes was project No. 10 – Academic Relaxation Base, submitted jointly by the library of the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics (WPAiE) and the Digital Justice Center.
The Academic Open Budget is a campaign in which PLN 150 000 allocated from the Rector’s funds will be used to finance 15 projects submitted by UWr students, doctoral students and staff.
The Academic Relaxation Base will be a welcoming space for readers of the Library at the Faculty of Law Administration and Economics. The project aims not only to create a place to relax, but also, through this, to build an academic community that supports intellectual and personal as well as interpersonal development.
Thanks to this approach to the library space, students will not only have the opportunity to take a break from their daily academic routine, but also to develop interpersonal interaction and inspiration. Furthermore, with a permanent feature at the Reading Room – a shelf of free books – students will finally be able to comfortably dip into reading in the reading corner – on a comfortable chair with access to good lighting.
The Academic Relaxation Base will be located in the corridor, in building ‘D’ of the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics, opposite the entrance to the Reading Room.
