Training for teachers: GIS w pomiarach jakości powietrza
Teachers, educators, caregivers and all those interested in the topic of air protection are invited to a free classroom training course entitled “GIS w pomiarach jakości powietrza”.
The classes will be held in the computer room of the UWr Department of Climatology and Atmospheric Protection, ul. A. Kosiby 8 in Wrocław, on:
22 October from 15:00-18:00
5 October from 15:00-18:00
Enrollment until 21.10 and 4.11, respectively, is available through the form on the website
Number of places is limited.
Language of training: Polish.
Participants will gain basic knowledge of air pollution, mobile air quality measurements and information on Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
The course includes 3 stages:
- an introduction to the topic of air pollution,
- presentation of QGIS software tools and a tutorial in which participants will be guided step-by-step through the process of developing survey data,
- instructions for creating your own map composition in QGIS software.
To participate in the workshop, it is necessary to create an account on our free e-learning platform MOOC LIFE-MAPPINGAIR/EN and enroll in the “GIS w pomiarach jakości powietrza” course. Its completion will enable you to obtain a CERTIFICATE that also confirms your participation in the above training.
Completion of the training will allow you to conduct workshops on your own with students‼️
