Translator and the challenges of the modern and future labour market
On 23 August 2023, a cooperation agreement between the University of Wrocław and LG Energy Solution Wrocław Sp. z o.o. was concluded in Biskupice Podgórne. The agreement provides for cooperation in conducting scientific research, organisation of scientific competitions, LGESWA’s support of scientific events organised by the University of Wrocław, as well as participation of the University’s students in internships, apprenticeships, lectures and trainings organised by LGESWA. In the new academic year 2023/2024, third-year Korean Studies students from the Faculty of Letters will have the opportunity to participate in option classes co-taught by staff from the LGESW Translation Department in the winter semester. LG Energy Solution Wrocław is a partner sponsor of the conference “Translator and the challenges of the modern and future labour market” organised on 14.10.2023 by the Faculty of Letters of the University of Wrocław and the Polish Society of Sworn and Specialised Translators (PT TEPIS). On behalf of the university, dr hab. Katarzyna Biernacka-Licznar, prof. UWr (Director of the Institute of Classical, Mediterranean and Oriental Studies) is responsible for organising the conference.
