TUTORING ACADEMY – 6th edition 2025 (September/October)
The key focus of the TUTORING ACADEMY is to support academic teaching staff and all other interested parties in the areas of: didactics, pedagogy, psychology, communication, management, and selected aspects of law. Each edition is updated and enriched with fresh ideas, new tutors, and engaging topics. We do not offer a textbook version of tutoring! Instead, we propose a structure, tools, and models that – both within the Academy and in your own environment – can be developed further into original solutions!
The TUTORING ACADEMY project at the University of Wrocław continues to grow – it motivates, inspires, and brings positive energy!
Already, eight faculties at the University of Wrocław include tutoring-based classes in their teaching offer!
The results achieved so far continue to motivate us, and openness to collaboration remains our foundation.
The next edition of the course begins on 13 September 2025. Teaching staff at the University of Wrocław are eligible for course funding from resources allocated by the Vice-Rector for Teaching.

Why TUTORING?

Why the TUTORING ACADEMY?
📢 We create a space for dialogue, sharing experiences, and finding inspiration – inviting tutors, mentors, psychologists, trainers, project coordinators, science communicators, educators, lecturers – in other words, practitioners and enthusiasts from a range of disciplines and institutions.
📢 We offer hands-on workshops with a practical focus, new skills, and the joy of learning.
📢 We show how to assess the outcomes of your own work and how to develop self-evaluation tools.
📢 We place strong emphasis on interdisciplinary approaches to solving difficult challenges and encourage ourselves and others to go beyond the boundaries of formal education.

AKADEMIA TUTORINGU to także doskonała okazja na integrację z kadrą naukową i dydaktyczną innych Wydziałów UWr i innych Uniwersytetów PL, co będzie owocowało na wiele lat doskonałą współpracą.
Każda z osób kończących Akademię (to tylko 4 weekendy) uzyskuje wiedzę, nowy cenny kapitał społeczny, gotowe narzędzia, garść pomysłów z potencjałem oraz dyplom certyfikowanego tutora (ważny także poza UWr).
The TUTORING ACADEMY is also an excellent opportunity to connect with academic and teaching staff from other faculties at the University of Wrocław, as well as from other universities across Poland – laying the groundwork for fruitful long-term collaboration.
Each participant who completes the Academy (just four weekends!) gains valuable knowledge, new social capital, practical tools, a bundle of ideas with potential – and a Certified Tutor diploma (recognised beyond UWr as well).
