University of Wrocław joins Clarivate’s prestigious Early Adopters Programme
We announce that our University has been selected as the only Polish institution and one of just two European universities to participate in the prestigious Early Adopters Programme run by Clarivate Analytics.
The Early Adopters Programme is an exclusive initiative by the global leader in research analytics, inviting selected, highly innovative research institutions worldwide to collaborate in the development of groundbreaking technological solutions. The programme allows participants to test and co-develop new analytical tools before their official market release.
Participation in the programme offers our University:
– Access to the latest technologies – as one of the first institutions worldwide, we will test Clarivate’s innovative solutions.
– Influence on the development of future research tools – our experiences and feedback will directly shape products used globally.
– Enhanced international standing – recognition as a partner of one of the most influential companies in the world of science.
– Competitive advantage – early access to advanced analytical tools supporting research activities and science management.
As prof. UWr Patrycja Mateusz, Vice-Rector for Internationalisation, comments: Our University’s selection for such an exclusive group reflects our growing international position and innovative approach to the development of science. This is a tremendous honour, but also a responsibility to actively participate in shaping tools that support the global scientific community. We have already begun testing the new tool. I have personally explored its capabilities and I can confirm that it is extremely helpful in daily research activities, offering entirely new analytical possibilities
This success is the result of implementing the IDUB strategy, which steadily strengthens our international position and opens doors to collaboration with leading global partners.
Clarivate Analytics is a global company providing trusted information and insights to accelerate innovation. Its products, including Web of Science, EndNote, and InCites, are used by millions of researchers, academic institutions, and companies worldwide to conduct, analyse, and report scientific research.
The tool is expected to be widely available to researchers within a few months.
It will automatically identify suitable grants and funding programmes aligned with a researcher’s profile, greatly facilitating the acquisition of research funding.
Through intelligent recommendations, researchers will gain access to networks of potential collaborators and experts on a global scale, particularly supporting early-career researchers in building their careers. The system will offer new tools to demonstrate the real social, economic, and environmental impact of research, going beyond traditional citation metrics. Automation of data collection and integration for publications and grants will eliminate time-consuming administrative tasks, allowing researchers to focus on actual research work.
