University of Wrocław swimming championships
The Swimming Section of the University Centre for Physical Education and Sport invites all willing students and employees of the UWr to the University of Wrocław Swimming Championships.
The event will take place on 14 March (Friday) at the swimming pool No. 1, ul. Teatralna 10/12, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Entry to the changing rooms will be possible from 3.30 p.m.
Each competitor may take part in a maximum of 2 competitions, which will be included in the competition programme:
- 50 metres in the following styles: freestyle, classic, backstroke, butterfly;
- 100 metres in alternating style.
Applications for participation should be sent to the organiser’s address, which also provides additional information related to the competition: rafal.tomczak@uwr.edu.pl (please indicate the subject of the message ‘Swimming competition’), or submitted in person at the venue (Monday/Wednesday, 19:00-21:00). Acceptance of the application must be confirmed by the organisers. Places are limited, the order of registration is decisive. It will not be possible to sign up on the day of the competition. By entering the competition, participants declare that they have no health contraindications to participate in the swimming competition.
Students of the University of Wrocław are additionally informed that the competition offers the opportunity to make up for their P.E. classes. Details are available from the class leaders for the individual groups.
Commemorative prizes are provided for the winners.
The organisers are not liable for damage to property or health caused during the competition.
