UWr publishing cooperation with Ossolineum
Following the recently signed letter of intent on mutual cooperation https://uwr.edu.pl/ossolineum-i-uniwersytet-chca-laczyc-sily-wydawnicze/, the University of Wrocław and the Ossolineum National Institute concluded an agreement on 29 April 2024 concerning publishing cooperation in the fields of history, philosophy, art, culture, social sciences and other aspects of the broadly defined humanities of our region.
The cooperation will be carried out in the areas of the academic series under the working title „Klasyka myśli środkowoeuropejskiej” (‘Classics of Central European Thought), which aims to familiarise contemporary readers with the humanities and popularise philosophical thought in Central and Eastern Europe, and the popularisation series under the working title „Zrozumieć Europę Środkowo-Wschodnią” (‘Understanding Central and Eastern Europe’), as well as in efforts to obtain funding for publishing projects and organise events, conferences and seminars related to publications.
The agreement was signed in the senate hall by UWr Vice-Rector prof. Artur Błażejewski and dr Łukasz Kamiński, Director of the Ossolineum.
