Valery Filippov’s visit to the UWr

On 12 December, our University hosted Mr Valeriy Filippov, Advisor to the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Supreme Council of Ukraine (the equivalent of the Ombudsman) and Consul General of Ukraine in Wrocław, Yuriy Tokar, and Priest Anatoly Rievtov.

Mr Valery Filippov met in the morning with representatives of the Mayor’s Department of the City of Wrocław: Radosław Michalski, Director of the Department of City Promotion and Tourism, Jan Wais, Deputy Director of the International Office. This was followed by a lecture at the Institute of International Studies, from 11.30 to 13.00, entitled “The Humanitarian Consequences of the War in Ukraine and the Importance of International Aid”. – it was organised by the Department of Oriental Studies and the Centre for Predictive Research on Religious Change.
