The University of Wrocław is not only a renowned research institution and a place where you can get a university education. The university is an important element on the map of Wrocław and is inextricably linked to the city.
You can visit the University of Wrocław. You do not have to study or do research here to get to know the university from the inside and feel its atmosphere – noble and serious, but also infused with a joyful passion for science and acquiring knowledge.
We invite you to visit the university’ s museums. A must have for anyone who wants to get to know Wrocław are the baroque gems Aula Leopoldina and Oratorium Marianum, located in the university’s main building. To see them, you have to go to the Museum of the University of Wrocław. The other, more intimate museums are also worth seeing.
The Botanical Garden is one of the favourite places of Wrocław inhabitants. It is a real green oasis, located in the very centre of the city.
A trip to the Arboretum in Wojsławice is a bigger trip. It is worth it to relax in the shade of historical cherry tree varieties, to admire blooming rhododendrons and peonies.
It is also worth a trip to the Observatory in Białków, to see the Milicz Ponds where the Ornithological Station is located and the Ecological Station “Storczyk” in Karpacz.
And the University of Wrocław itself goes out into the streets and to the youngest inhabitants of Wrocław (but not only!) during the Lower Silesian Science Festival.
