Workshops on self-presentation and public speaking
A workshop on self-presentation and public speaking was held at our university for doctoral students in the Doctoral School to help them function more efficiently in an academic environment, strengthening their skills in self-presentation and public speaking, i.e. both teaching and presenting their work at conferences, symposia and in other official and unofficial professional and private situations. This year, the last of the three planned editions of the workshop took place and was conducted in English. The trainer was Mrs Manuela Jonarska-Pliżga and the workshop was a two-day event (6.11 and 8.11), with a total of 15h of theoretical and practical training.
