Recruitment to the University of Wrocław started on 1 June and after twelve days of registration in the Candidate Registration System IRK we already have 8 thousand applications! 4 thousand candidates have already decided that they want to start their adventure with studies at our university! There is less than a month to go until the closing date of the online Candidate Registration System for full-time first-cycle (bachelor’s) and long-cycle (master’s) studies! And what is the situation with the recruitment process for the various fields of study? Which are the most popular so far? Are there any surprises at the top of the popularity ratings?
As far as the number of registrations in IRKA is concerned, psychology – full-time long-cycle studies (922 registrations) is in first place, followed by law – full-time long-cycle studies (639 registrations), image communication – full-time first-cycle studies (398), journalism and social communication – full-time first-cycle studies (362), English studies – full-time first-cycle studies (294), economics – full-time first-cycle studies (246), Korean studies – full-time first-cycle studies (200), Spanish studies – full-time first-cycle studies (184), text culture and practice – creative writing and editing – full-time first-cycle studies (152), biotechnology – full-time first-cycle studies (144).
In the ranking of the popularity of applicants in terms of the number of applicants per place, the top ten faculties are as follows: Korean studies – full-time first-cycle studies – 11 people per place; psychology – full-time first-cycle studies – 9.2; image communication – full-time first-cycle studies – 5; Italian studies – full-time first-cycle studies – 4.5; journalism and social communication – full-time first-cycle studies – 4; English studies – full-time first-cycle studies – 3.6; Spanish studies – full-time first-cycle studies – 3.3; Law – full-time first-cycle studies – 3.2, Medical molecular biotechnology – full-time first-cycle studies – 3.1; Forensic chemistry and toxicology – full-time first-cycle studies – 2.7.
