Gear up for UWr – A Bicycle Contest
Do you enjoy cycling and want to promote your university? Enter the “Gear up for UWr” contest and win a great prize!
The University of Wrocław invites students and staff to participate in a contest promoting an active lifestyle and the university. The task is to submit an original work in the form of a photo or short video that combines the theme of cycling with a location or symbols of the University of Wrocław.
What is the contest about?
To participate, take a photo or record a video showing a person with a bicycle and an element associated with the University of Wrocław—this could be a building, a faculty, a distinctive location on campus, or a visual identity element (e.g., clothing or a gadget with the UWr logo).
Participants are encouraged to be creative in their approach to the theme, though the awarding of prizes will primarily depend on meeting the formal requirements and the order in which entries are received.
How to enter?
The conditions for participation in the contest are:
- following the designated University of Wrocław Instagram profiles,
- submitting your contest work from an address in the @uwr.edu.pl domain to: studia.promocja@uwr.edu.pl,
- including in your submission information confirming your status as a student or employee, as well as the name of your Instagram profile.
Each participant may submit one entry in the form of a photo or video.
Dates and Prizes
The contest runs from June 1 to 30, 2026 or until the prize pool is exhausted.
Prizes – backpacks featuring the University of Wrocław logo –will be awarded to the first participants to submit valid entries that meet all the requirements of the rules.
Please note
Submitted works must be original, meet specific technical requirements, and be suitable for publication on the university’s social media. Submitting an entry also constitutes consent for the Organizer to use it in promotional activities for the University of Wrocław.
