Workshop for teachers: How to talk to children about air quality?
The UWr Department of Climatology and Atmospheric Protection invites kindergarten and school teachers, environmental education educators and anyone interested in environmental issues to an online workshop ‘How to talk to children about air quality?’.
The class will take place on 9 October this year at 17:00 on the Teams platform.
On the programme:
- What are pollutants, or some basic but extremely important definitions.
- Why we can’t go outside, or a few words on how to check air quality.
- Not just the lungs, or how and who is most affected by pollution.

Prior to the workshop, we encourage you to sign up for the online course ‘How to talk to children about air quality?’ on our free e-learning platform MOOC LIFE-MAPPINGAIR/EN. Its completion will enable you to obtain a CERTIFICATE confirming your participation in the above-mentioned training as well.
