Workshop – Optimize your language learning
What language learning strategies do you currently use and how could they be improved?
What do you have the most problems with and how can you deal with them?
What is your goal and what method can help you achieve it?
These questions are the starting point of Arqus Café workshop series organised on 24 November and 15 December.
Learning a language in a language course is often quite straightforward (at least in theory). Autonomous language learning, on the other hand, offers much more possibilities and freedom, but also requires (self-) organisation and motivation.
In this two-part workshop, there will be discussed language learning techniques outside the classroom and new approaches to self- learning. Workshops will help you find out what works best for you. Focus will be more on speaking and comprehension than on reading and writing.
This mini-workshop series is open to all students and staff of Arqus Alliance universities, regardless of the foreign language or the corresponding language level (A1-C1).
The workshop will take place online (in English) on Thursday 24 November and 15 December at 17:15 – 18:15.
Participation is required on both days.
