The Historical Institute of the Univeristy of Wrocław cordially invites you to a meeting with an exceptional guest, Tomasz Kizny – a well-known photographer, journalist and opposition activist from the communist era.
Tomasz Kizny, from 1982 to 1991, was active in the Independent Photographic Agency Dementi, which he co-founded. Among other things, the agency documented public resistance to martial law in Poland and the collapse of the communist system. Kizny is the award-winning author of exhibitions such as “Ocaleni z gułagu” and “Pasażerowie. Moskwa. Warszawa. Berlin.
