Information meeting “What and how to do it on doctoral studies?”

On behalf of the Doctoral Council of the University of Wrocław, we would like to invite doctoral students at the Doctoral School as well as candidates who would like to start their scientific path within the framework of a doctorate to participate in an information meeting entitled “What and how to do it on doctoral studies?”.

The following topics will be covered during the meeting:

➡ what are the rights and responsibilities of doctoral students;
➡ how the supervision works;
➡ what to look out for when formulating your IPB – useful tips;
➡ what are the financial opportunities on doctoral studies (where to get funding from);
➡ how the local Doctoral Student Self-Government works ( University of Wrocław);
➡ what doctoral organisations there are in Poland.

The training will take place on two dates:

  • on Thursday, 2 November at 17:00 using Teams. It will be conducted by mgr Wojciech Milczarski – Vice-President of the UWr Doctoral Student Council
  • on Thursday, 9 November at 17:00 using Teams. It will be conducted by mgr Wojciech Milczarski – Vice-President of the UWr Doctoral Student Council

Details of the training are posted in the Facebook event and on the UWr Doctoral Student Self-Government’s website and social media profiles.

The training courses are being organised as part of the National Representation of Doctoral Students’ project ‘Szkoła Młodego Naukowca Samorządowca’, implemented with funds from the programme ‘Organizowanie i animowanie działań na rzecz środowiska akademickiego’.
