The Department of Ukrainian Studies, Institute of Slavic Studies of the University of Wrocław, would like to invite you to an online meeting with representatives of the UA Future Foundation. Piotr Kaszuwara and Jacek Cielecki will talk about the war realities of Ukraine, the need for international support for the Ukrainian society and army, and the activities of their organisation.
Since the escalation of the war in Ukraine, the UA Future Foundation has done a colossal job for Ukraine. The foundation’s team is able to reach where hardly anyone dares and provides help to those who need it the most. The President of the Foundation, Piotr Kaszuwara, a war journalist and reporter, cooperates with many editorial offices in the country. He also broadcasts daily news from the war-torn country via Facebook. Jacek Cielecki, vice president of UA Future, is an employee of the Institute of History of the University of Wrocław and a researcher of World War II and the history of the Baltic countries. He coordinates the activities of the foundation in Poland and sometimes leads a humanitarian aid convoy to Ukraine.
The meeting, which will take place on June 12 (Monday) at 17:00 on the Microsoft Teams platform, will be led by Anna Ursulenko from the Department of Ukrainian Studies at the Institute of Slavic Studies of the University of Wrocław.
