The Sznirele Perele Scientific Association has the honour of inviting everyone to a meeting with Beata Dżon-Ozimek and Michał Olszewski, authors of the book “Ptaki krzyczą nieustannie”, which will take place on 19 May at 5 p.m in the Jewish Studies Library ( ul. św. Jadwigi 3/4). The book presents the biography of Günther Niethammer, an Auschwitz SS man and ornithologist. It raises questions about human empathy and conscience in the face of mass extermination.
The meeting will be chaired by dr Michał Grochowski.
