On 21 December 2023 (Thursday) at 18.00 Polish time (19.00 Ukrainian time), an international webinar on “The first Ukrainian Hamlet (Lviv 1943)” will be held on the Zoom platform. The webinar commemorates the 80th anniversary of the first Ukrainian performance of William Shakespeare’s “Hamlet”.
The event is dedicated to professor Maja Harbuziuk (1965-2023), a Lviv-based theatre scholar, a prominent researcher of Ukrainian Shakespearean, and the originator of the Shakespeare festival in Ukraine.
