We would like to invite you to an author meeting with Tomasz Karamon, author of the book “What Mother B saw. Tales from the Bard”.
About the book: The book published by “Dowody” is a collection of crumbs collected by a keen observer and lover of his region. The historical reportage brings closer not only the fate of the oldest wooden statue in Poland, but also the inhabitants of Bard. The town itself also becomes a protagonist, whom we appreciate more and more with each successive chapter.
What we will ask: We’ll ask about how to cherish what’s local, what it means for history to knock on the door by itself, and how the author’s life changed after watching Indiana Jones and the Search for the Lost Ark.
About the author: Tomasz Karamon – local history enthusiast, creator of wooden gingerbread molds, traditional to Bard. Author of the reportage “What Mother B saw. Tales from Bard” and the blog ‘Bardo – on the trail of mysteries of history’. Since recently a member of the Lower Silesian Council of Culture. Constantly discovers the region of Lower Silesia, brings closer its fate and stories.
