4th National Conference of Doctoral Schools
On 16 and 17 April 2026 in the University Library of Wrocław (BUWr) the 4th National Conference of Doctoral Schools will take place.
This event is the fourth edition of meetings under the auspices of the National Agreement of Doctoral Schools, that brings together the management and staff of doctoral schools at higher education schools and PAN Institutes. In previous years the meetings took place in Łódź, Warsaw and Kraków.
National Agreement is a platform that enables the exchange of experiences related to the management of doctoral schools, education relating to disciplinary specificities, proposing initiatives concerning organisational procedures, and finally, with positioning of the environment of young scientists in academic as well as non-academic life.
The topic of this year’s conference is a discussion about doctoral school in social surroundings, the balance from the six-year existence of the new doctoral education formula, the role of artificial intelligence, collaboration with the doctoral students’ council and evaluation of the assessment process.
The conference has been given a patronage by the Minister of Science and Higher Education, Marcin Kulasek.
