Lodołamacze is a competition that recognises good practices of institutions and companies in eliminating barriers faced by people with disabilities. It is the largest and longest-running (for 17 years) competition of its kind in Poland, responding to changing needs and pointing out new trends in the social involvement of businesses, institutions and organisations. The idea behind Lodołamacze is to break stereotypes, prejudices and, above all, the ice of indifference towards people with disabilities. The competition includes seven categories, in which projects from various institutions, universities and companies ranging from small to large corporations are presented.
