
President of the NBP Contest for the Best Economics Papers
The National Bank of Poland invites participation in the competitions for the President of the NBP Award: for the best master’s thesis (15th edition) and for the best doctoral and habilitation thesis (8th edition) in the field of economic sciences.
The aim of the competitions is to increase interest among students, graduates, and academic staff in the topics of macroeconomics and finance, particularly monetary policy and financial markets.
The competitions are open to authors of master’s theses defended at universities in Poland between 2021 and 2022, as well as authors of works who obtained a doctoral or habilitation degree in Poland between 2020 and 2022. Entries for the competitions can be submitted by the authors themselves, as well as with their consent, by supervisors and universities.
Submissions are accepted until July 14, 2023.
For the best master’s theses, the Jury will award:
- First prize in the amount of PLN 15,000,
- Second prize in the amount of PLN 10,000,
- Third prize in the amount of PLN 7,000,
- Two honorable mentions of PLN 5,000 each.
For the best doctoral theses, the Jury will award:
- The main prize in the amount of PLN 30,000,
- Three honorable mentions of PLN 10,000 each.
For the best habilitation theses, the Jury will award:
- The main prize in the amount of PLN 50,000,
- Three honorable mentions of PLN 20,000 each.
