UL: Competitions and prizes

    The 23rd edition of the “Wrocławska Magnolia” competition has begun. It is addressed to graduates who defended their master’s theses in the 2024/2025 academic year and focused on topics related to improving the quality of life of Wrocław residents.

    We know the names of students who have been awarded scholarships by the Minister of Science and Higher Education (for academic year 2025/2026). The Minister granted 402 scholarships from 1171 applications for significant scientific, artistic, or sports achievements. Our best students received the scholarships, representing almost all scientific and artistic disciplines (48 out of 55).

    Nikola Żak chose to study European Diplomacy because she wants, in the future, to be present in the rooms where decisions are made and to have a real impact on improving the world around her.     The monograph by Patrycja Grzebyk (University of Warsaw), Bartłomiej Krzan (Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics of the University of Wrocław) and Karolina Wierczyńska (Polish Academy of Sciences), entitled “Polski dorobek w zakresie międzynarodowego prawa karnego w latach 1918-2018”, was awarded first prize in the Competition for the Best History Book organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
