Prof. Jan Miodek with the Wrocław Science Prize!
During the festive Inauguration of the Academic Year 2023/2024 of Wrocław Universities, the Wrocław Science Prize was presented. Its winners were prof. Grażyna Pstrokońska-Nawratil (Academy of Music in Wrocław) and prof. Jan Miodek from the University of Wrocław. Our sincere congratulations!
The Wrocław Scientific Prize was established in 2016 with the intention of sustainably supporting the outstanding achievements of the champions of Wrocław’s scientific and artistic community. It is dedicated to scientists and artists whose interdisciplinary achievements contribute to the integration of the academic and artistic community of our city.
In past years, several scientists from the University of Wrocław have already been among the winners of the Wrocław Science Prize:
in 2017 prof. Andrzej Pękalski, physicist, in 2020 prof. Jan Harasimowicz, art historian, and in 2021 prof. Lechosław Latos-Grażyński, chemist.
