Trade Fair Heritage 2025
Library of the University of Wrocław and Cyfrowa Droga invite you to the Trade Fair Heritage 2025 – Spring Edition, which is to be held within the walls of the Library of the University of Wrocław, co-organiser of the event.
Two days full of inspiration await participants! The trade fair is not only an opportunity to meet exhibitors but also the opportunity to take part in an enthralling conference on cultural heritage, the arts, and the preservation of traditions.
As part of the event, an academic conference will be held ‘Transcending borders – interdisciplinarity and cooperation in research, preservation, and dissemination of cultural heritage’, scheduled for 20–21 March 2025 at the University Library. It aims to create a space for the exchange of experiences between researchers, practitioners, and representatives of the GLAM sector institutions (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, Museums), as well as NGOs and local communities.
During the conference, an attempt will be made to assess the importance of interdisciplinarity and collaboration in addressing the key challenges of cultural heritage research, conservation, and dissemination. A special emphasis will be placed on the effective interaction of academic, public, and private institutions to optimise heritage activities.
The event will provide an opportunity to discuss the organisation of cooperation, the use of new technologies, and the launch of initiatives to optimise costs and implement joint projects. It will also be a space for the presentation of good practices, the exchange of expertise, and the establishment of cross-sectoral cooperation.
In the course of the event, participants will have the opportunity to take part in practical workshops and panel discussions on the future of cultural heritage in the context of technological, organisational, and social challenges.
