2nd edition of the “young researcher 2020-2025” scholarship competition

ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE RESULTS OF THE SECOND EDITION OF THE “YOUNG RESEARCHER 2020-2025” SCHOLARSHIP COMPETITION !
Based on the criteria and scoring set out in the Competition Regulations for the Young Researcher 2020-2025 Scholarships, the ranking list of scholarship recipients – full-time students in the first academic year 2021/2022) included:
- Medallists of international Olympiads – 1 student,
- Finalists and laureates of subject Olympiads – 29 students,
- Students with the highest score in the recruitment process – 70 students, of which two students were qualified on the basis of § 5 point, 1 of the Regulations of the “Young Researcher 2020-2025” Scholarships.
In accordance with the regulations, a minimum of two people from each faculty received scholarships. The full list of winners can be found here.

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR THE SECOND EDITION OF THE “YOUNG RESEARCHER 2020-2025” SCHOLARSHIP COMPETITION IS CLOSED!
This year, 172 students from the University of Wrocław have applied for the ‘Young Researcher 2020-2025’ scholarships. Now, the submitted applications will be reviewed by a specially appointed “Young Researcher 2020-20025” Grants and Scholarships Team, which will select the scholarship recipients for this edition of the competition.

ON 6 OCTOBER, THE SECOND EDITION OF THE ‘YOUNG RESEARCHER 2020-2025’ SCHOLARSHIP COMPETITION UNDER THE ‘EXCELLENCE INITIATIVE – RESEARCH UNIVERSITY’ PROGRAMME WILL BE LAUNCHED.
This is a proposal for the young-at-heart. A special additional scholarship is aimed at students who have decided to study at the University of Wrocław. It supports winners of international and national subject olympiads and graduates who have excelled in their matriculation examinations. These grants are intended to support the development of passionate young people who are active in scientific circles and take part in research conducted by UWr staff. The competitions will be held once a year until 2025.
Applications “for the Young Researcher 2020-2025 scholarships” can be submitted by eligible students only via the online form available on the website of the University Competition System of the University of Wrocław between 06 October 2021 and 12 October 2021.
