
Arqus announces a competition for academic teachers
Arqus European University Alliance invites academic teachers to take part in the second edition of the Teaching Excellence Awards 2022 competition for the best teachers who form the Arqus universities network.
On the UWr Youtube channel, Vice-Rector for projects and international relations, prof. Patrycja Matusz encourages candidates to take part in the competition.
The prizes will be awarded in two categories:
- Didactic projects based on academic research (Arqus Teaching Excellence Award for enabling research-based teaching)
- Supporting students in the didactic process (Arqus Teaching Excellence Award for enabling students)

All academic teachers working at Arqus universities network and promoting innovative teaching methods can be eligible to receive the Arqus Teaching Excellence award, regardless of the field in which they teach. The winners will receive EUR 5,000 for competence development or didactic purposes.
Details concerning the terms of participation are available on the Arqus alliance website. On the same website there is an application form, which must be sent to the email address teaching-award@arqus-alliance.eu not later than 30th of November 2022. Teaching Excellence Awards will be granted at the Arqus Annual Conference 2023, which is going to be held from the 3rd to the 5th of April in Graz.
