For another consecutive year, the University of Wrocław has climbed the ranks in one of the most prestigious university rankings, the QS World University Rankings 2026, published on 19 June. The university is placed in the 801–850 group among the best higher education institutions worldwide. In the previous edition of the ranking, it was positioned within the 851–900 band. Among Polish universities, we are ranked fifth, while among classical universities we hold fourth place. In the Lower Silesian region, we are the highest-ranked institution.

The University of Wrocław has been ranked 937th globally and 4th among Polish universities in the Center for World University Rankings (CWUR) 2025, published on 2 June. Notably, it is the only Polish institution to be ranked in the “Faculty” category, securing 269th place worldwide.
