Second Artificial Intelligence Olympiad

The Artificial Intelligence Olympiad is a competition directed to students of Polish high schools. It is also a unique opportunity to support young talents – people who are just entering the world of AI and want to expand their knowledge, gain new experiences and develop their skills at the highest level. The aim of the competition is to popularize the key knowledge and technologies underlying artificial intelligence. The first stage will begin on February 17. Prof. Bassalik Award for scientists from the Faculty of Biotechnology of the University of Wrocław

A team of scientists from the Faculty of Biotechnology of the University of Wrocław, composed of: Karolina Pląskowska, dr Łukasz Makowski, dr Agnieszka Strzałka, prof. dr hab. Jolanta Zakrzewska-Czerwińska, received the Prof. Bassalik, awarded by the Committee on Molecular Biology of the Cell of the Polish Academy of Sciences, for the best work in the field of microbiology created in a Polish laboratory. The work of the awarded team has also been published in the prestigious journal mBio (American Society of Microbiology).
