On Wednesday, 27 November 2024, during the so-called Blended Intensive Program (BIP) entitled “Personality and mediation” at the Faculty of Letters (Facultad de Letras) of the University of Murcia (Universidad de Murcia /UdeM), Spain, dr Anna Kuźnik, dr Justyna Salamon and dr Jadwiga Cook from the UWr Institute of Romance Studies held an information meeting for students and academic staff of this Spanish university and presented opportunities to visit the University of Wrocław within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme and other forms of scientific and didactic cooperation.

The Institute of Economic Sciences and the Department of Financial Law, the “REK-FIN” Student Financial Market Scientific Association and the FISCUS Student Financial Law Scientific Association invite academics, students, adult learners, teachers and seniors to: Scientific Conference “Finanse konsumenckie i egzekwowanie ochrony konsumenta na rynku finansowym Prawo – Problemy – Praktyka”, combined with the Financial Ombudsman Days, organised at the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics at the University of Wrocław in Wrocław on 2-3 December 2024.

On November 28, 2024, the official inauguration of the 2024/2025 academic year, combined with the matriculation of first-year students of the UWr College for Interdisciplinary Studies (Kolegium MSI), took place at the University of Wrocław. A highlight of the event was a guest lecture delivered by prof. Luigi Marinelli from the University of Rome “La Sapienza.”

Information days about the Erasmus+ programme were held at the University of Wrocław between 18-21.11.2024. This is a regular event, which is very popular among UWr students and doctoral students. More than 500 people showed up at the meetings, where staff from the International Office presented the offer of the Erasmus+ programme, the EU’s largest and most popular mobility program.

The mentoring program has been implemented by the Academic Career Office of the University of Wrocław for thirteen years. Recruitment for the 14th edition is currently underway. Until December 6, students can read bios of mentors and mentees and apply. This year, there are 63 specialists from various industries waiting for them.
