The mentoring program has been implemented by the Academic Career Office of the University of Wrocław for thirteen years. Recruitment for the 14th edition is currently underway. Until December 6, students can read bios of mentors and mentees and apply. This year, there are 63 specialists from various industries waiting for them.

During the second plenary meeting of the Biotechnology Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences, a by-election was held to select three new members/members of the Committee – specialists in biotechnology. The Committee was composed of three members, including prof. dr hab. Jolanta Zakrzewska-Czerwińska, a RDN member and head of the Department of Molecular Microbiology at the Faculty of Biotechnology at the University of Wrocław.

On 13 November 2024, at the Honorary Consulate of India in Wrocław, a ceremony was held to award two vouchers for air tickets to India, for flights Warsaw – Delhi – Warsaw, which were funded by the Honorary Consul of India in Wroclaw, Mr. Kartikey Johri. The persons honoured with the award of the Honorary Consul were Ms Zofia Błasińska and Katarzyna Piróg, outstanding students in the first year of graduate studies in Indian Studies. The two awarded students were selected from among all students of Indian philology from the second year of undergraduate studies, as a result of a secret ballot of the staff of the Department of Indian Studies (ISKŚiO UWr).

Joint Programs means International Joint Studies, a term that covers a wide range of different possibilities for creating study programs in which universities from different countries participate. Participation can take many forms, but two elements are key – the joint creation of the program and the participation of students or staff from all the universities involved.
