On Tuesday, 30 October, a two-hour debate dedicated to the current situation in the Middle East took place in W. Świda’s hall at the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics. Polish Minister of Culture and National Heritage Hanna Wróblewska appointed professor Krzysztof Ruchniewicz as director of Witold Pilecki’s Institute of Solidarity and Courage. His five-year term in office starts on 5 November 2024. Dr Wojciech Kozłowski, who had been the acting director of the Institute, will assume the position of vice-director.
