Dr Karol Chwedczuk-Szulc from the Section of Polish Foreign Policy at the Institute of Political Science has once again been appointed as a mentor in the TopMinds programme!
TopMinds is a mentorship programme that opens the door to the international career for young Polish academics. The current edition is aimed at final year students of Master studies who are planning their careers in the academic field and students who are already working on their doctoral thesis at a Polish university (or another academic or research institution), and who – additionally – stand out in the academic field. It aims at passionate and ambitious people.

Dr Karol Chwedczuk-Szulc – doctor of political science with a master’s degree in sociology and international relations, assistant professor at the Institute of Political Science UWr. He conducts comparative research of EU and USA, with particular reference to political crises and methods of solving them. Former Research Fellow at the American University in Washington, D.C. in 2015– 2016 and in 2019 (the Fulbright-Schuman programme). In his academic work, he is especially interested in historical sociology, social theory, as well as European and American integration.
