An international scientific conference “Urban Post-COVID Recovery – Experiences, Challenges and Future Pathways” will be held at the UWr Institute of Political Science on 26-27.04.2023. The event is under the patronage of the Administration and Politics Section of the Polish Political Science Association.
The aim of the conference is to present the results of scientific research and to exchange experiences and opinions on the meanders of the fuctioning of local government units in Europe under conditions of pandemic and post-pandemic crisis.
Participants will attempt to assess the predictive and responsive potential of local government administration that carries out public tasks in a turbulent environment, not only political, but also economic and social. Solutions adopted and implemented in Central Europe will be taken into special consideration.
The conference is organised within the international research project “Urban Post-COVID Recovery in the V4 Countries” carried out from 2022 to 2025 at the Institute of Political Science of the University of Wrocław with the support of the International Visegrad Fund (Strategic Grant).
