
Our PhD student with a French scholarship
Damian Bączkiewicz, a PhD student of politics and administration from the Faculty of Social Studies of the University of Wrocław, got awarded the French Government Scholarship. Bourses du Gouvernement Français (BGF) are given every year to scientists in Poland and Europe to spend a part of their studies or carry out research in France. By receiving the grants, Damian Bączkiewicz, under the supervision of professor D. Dakowska from Aix-Marseille University, will be able to carry out research concerning his doctoral thesis about political expertise in terms of the theory of enactivism. The scholarship covers three research trips lasting a total of 12 months from 2023 to 2025.
On June 24th, a celebration was held in the French Embassy in Warsaw in honor of this year’s scholarship recipients. The French Ambassador Frédéric Billet was there to congratulate all 104 students participating in exchanges and recipients of the BGF.
Damian Bączkiewicz also became an Ambassador of Campus France, a public institution that promotes international student exchanges of scientific character. He provides information about the possibilities of studying in France
