Joint master’s and doctoral programmes with foreign universities

The University of Wrocław participates in joint master’s degree programmes conducted in English as part of the European Erasmus Mundus programme. By taking part in these studies, a student has the chance to obtain at least two degrees from universities belonging to three consortia – European Master Global Studies (EMGS), MITRA (Mediation interculturelle: identities, mobilities, conflits) and Children’s Literature, Media & Culture European Master Global Studies (CLMC).

In addition to the Erasmus Mundus programme, UWr has double degree agreements with several European universities. Double Degree programmes are offered at the Faculty of Chemistry (agreement with the Italian University of Sassari) and the Faculty of Social Sciences. The Double Degree programme can be pursued by students of international relations. In addition to the UWr diploma, they have the possibility of obtaining a diploma from the University of Padua or the University of Bochum (Germany). The Institute of Political Sciences, meanwhile, pursues a Double Degree programme with the Georgian Institue of Public Affairs from Tbilisi. Two degrees can also be obtained by doctoral candidates of the Doctoral College of Philosophy – an agreement with the University of Ostrava.

Detailed information on mobility programmes and joint study programmes can be found on the website of the International Office.

The project “Integrated Program for the Development of the University of Wrocław 2018-2022” co-financed by the European Union from the European Social Fund
