StudentPro: knowledge and inspiration for UWr students
With a new academic year comes a new initiative: StudentPro.pl. A podcast and articles aimed at proactive students involved in academic circles, organisations and student government. The whole project also encourages young people to be socially active.
As you probably know very well, student activities bring a lot of benefits to many parties. The university has interesting projects that can be presented to candidates and business partners. Students develop soft and practical skills, as well as consolidate or supplement their academic knowledge. Business has the opportunity to support the students and at the same time realise their marketing, employer branding or CSR activities.
With over a two-year break from the university, student activities are facing a huge challenge. The break from live events and the impediment to recruit new students has become a national issue. StudentPro is supportive of both students already involved and those starting out. Topics addressed in articles and podcasts cover:
– raising funds from outside the university,
– building volunteer teams,
– implementing projects,
– promotion and image maintenance.
The StudentPro team consists of people with experience in student initiatives, promotional activities and partnership with sponsors. It is worth mentioning that one of these people is Alicja Matkowska. Following her activities in NZS UWr she now takes care of StudentPro’s communication.
