What is worth changing at the university to make it more eco-friendly?
There are PLN 5,000 to win in the fourth edition of the EkoMasters competition. The prizes will be divided among the teams which, in the jury’s opinion, will present the best projects.
Send in your pro-environmental postulate, an idea for change, or a specific project. The authors of the most interesting proposals (students or doctoral students) will receive:
- 1st prize – PLN 2,500,
- 2nd prize – PLN 1,500,
- 3rd prize – PLN 1,000.
It is allowed to send in more than one submission and thereby win several prizes.
Submissions are to be sent until 23 October 2023 with the use of the application form available at ekokampus.fjk.org.pl. In the ‘publications’ section you can read about projects awarded in previous years.
This competition requires teamwork. Submissions are being sent in by a team of 2 to 6 people. The participants’ task is to present a postulate, an idea, or a project for changing the university, a selected organisational unit of the university, or for changing the attitudes of people who create the academic community, which may result in reducing the negative impact on the environment. The submission may have any form (various forms may be used, e.g. opinion, appeal, analysis, account, investment estimate, etc.). The results will be announced during the Academic Gala in Warsaw in November this year.
The public project co-funded with the Ministry of Education and Science’s funds received in 2023 within the competition ‘Organising and stimulating actions for the academic community’.
