On 9 June 2025, the University of Wrocław hosted representatives of doctoral schools from Wrocław’s higher education institutions at the Collegium Antropologicum. The meeting was held at the invitation of prof. Artur Błażejewski, Vice-Rector for Research, and prof. Robert Klementowski, Rector’s Plenipotentiary for the Doctoral School of the University of Wrocław.

His Magnificence, Rector of the University of Wrocław, professor Robert Olkiewicz, cordially invites you to the “Wrocław Freedom” honorary badge award ceremony,which will take place on Friday, 13 June 2025, at 3:30 p.m. at Oratorium Marianum (main building of the University of Wrocław, pl. Uniwersytecki 1).

Prof. dr hab. Dariusz Galasiński of the Department of Audiovisual Arts at the Institute of Journalism and Social Communication, together with scientists from other universities, is working on the “AstroMentalHealth” experiment. The experiment will be carried out during the IGNIS mission with the participation of dr Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski. The project is coordinated by the University of Silesia, along with the participating of the University of Wrocław, the University of Zielona Góra, SWPS, and LunAres Research Station.

Within IDUB’s program – short visits – a lecture by Professor Marc Hallin of the Université Libre de Bruxelles, titled “The long quest for quantiles and ranks in Euclidean spaces and on manifolds,” will take place. The event will take place at 13:15 on Tuesday, June 17th, 2024, in lecture room 119 of the Institute of Computer Science at the University of Wrocław, ul. Joliot-Curie 15.
