    Falling Walls Lab Wrocław 2025 will take place on Saturday, 13 September 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Oratorium Marianum in the main building of the University of Wrocław at Plac Uniwersytecki 1. As last year, the event is part of the Lower Silesian Science Festival programme.

    What are the effects of being in space and are they very noticeable? Have the studies conducted on the ISS contributed to the development of new materials and technologies used in everyday objects? What are the biggest hygiene challenges in zero gravity? After many days of waiting, young space enthusiasts were finally able to connect with Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski and ask him questions about the IGNIS space mission, research conducted in space and the life of an astronaut.     During his stay aboard the International Space Station (ISS), Polish astronaut dr Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski will connect live with Polish children and youth on four occasions, including during an event hosted at our university as part of the IGNIS mission’s accompanying educational programme.

    PROT-TOWING: Development of an innovative molecular towing technology for the selective inactivation of pathogenic proteins

    We are pleased to announce the release of the first episode of the English-language podcast “Tatars in Poland: Adopted Homeland”, co-created by dr Ewa Górska from the University of Wrocław and prof. Maurits Berger from Leiden University. This unique project explores one of the oldest Muslim communities in Europe – the Polish Tatars.
