UL: Competitions and prizes

The competition for temporary motivational allowances is open to academic teachers from all units of the University of Wrocław. There have already been 3 editions of this competition, in which a total of 150 allowances are awarded each year. The Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics at the University of Wrocław teaches the best lawyers in Poland, and university candidates already know it! FLAE UWr ranked third in the 13th edition of the “Rzeczpospolita” Ranking of Law Faculties in the category of public universities, and first in terms of popularity of universities among candidates wishing to study law.

The Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics of the University of Wrocław ranked third in the 18th Ranking of Law Faculties of Dziennik Gazeta Prawna, published today. In the category of quality and strength of education, FLAE UWr is first in Poland. A place among the top law faculties is a huge success, achieved thanks to the staff, doctoral students and students of FLAE UWr.

The first edition of the Artificial Intelligence Olympiad starts today, 22 April. The initiative is the result of extensive cooperation between four Polish universities: Jagiellonian University, Adam Mickiewicz University, the University of Warsaw and the University of Wrocław (Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science). The aim of the Olympiad is to select a four-person team to represent Poland at the International Olympiad of Artificial Intelligence for secondary school students (IOAI) , which will be held in Burgas (Bulgaria) from 9-15 August this year.
The badge of honour “Wrocław Freedom” is a distinction of particular importance to the University of Wrocław. It is a decoration awarded to heroes and heroines who, even in particularly difficult and unfavourable times, did not forget about freedom, truth, human rights, justice and solidarity. Established in 2020, the Polish Science Day is an opportunity to recall the fundamental importance of scientific research for the development of the country. It has also become an opportunity to honour those particularly involved in scientific and academic activities with the Awards of the Minister of Science.
