    With deep sorrow and regret, we announce the passing of prof. dr hab. Bernard Janusz Albin, former Dean and co-founder of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Emeritus Professor of the University of Wrocław.

    “Hartman’s Letter” became the stuff of legend due to both the circumstances surrounding it and its timeless message, although for many years it was known only within the community of mathematicians. Since the students had taken the trouble to copy it down, it must have made quite an impression on them!

    Our researchers will pursue research activities owing to National Science Centre grants. They will not only work on complicated physics or computer science matters, but even French terminology associated with colorings and pigments.
