    In December, the University of Wrocław, together with the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces and the Doctrine and Training Centre of the Polish Armed Forces, will organise a scientific seminar entitled Bezpieczeństwo narodowe w kontekście przemian społecznych i wyzwań urbanizacyjnych: interdyscyplinarna diagnoza i perspektywy.

    Seminar on National Security

    Applications received by the National Science Centre (pl. Narodowe Centrum Nauki – NCN) in July were evaluated in the last round of the MINIATURA 9 contest. Among 906 submitted applications, experts from the NCN qualified for funding 191 activities of a total amount of more than 70 million Polish zlotys (PLN). Our young researchers are among these. Congratulations!

    One of the many attractions prepared by the University of Wrocław to mark the 80th anniversary of Polish scholarship in Wrocław was the illumination of the University’s main building in blue – the official UWr colour, known as the university azure.

    By decision of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the strategic importance of ACTRIS for science and public policy has been confirmed: from the high quality of the research conducted, through open access to data, to support for innovation in the fields of air quality and climate change adaptation. As a result, ACTRIS maintains its position on the Polish Research Infrastructure Map as a nationwide infrastructure for aerosol, cloud and trace gas research.
