UL: Studies and Students
We know the names of students who have been awarded scholarships by the Minister of Science and Higher Education (for academic year 2025/2026). The Minister granted 402 scholarships from 1171 applications for significant scientific, artistic, or sports achievements. Our best students received the scholarships, representing almost all scientific and artistic disciplines (48 out of 55).
Once again,the Lover Silesia Capital Club is organising the Young Talents competition. If you are an ambitious and passionate student or doctoral candidate, do not hesitate—complete the application form (attached below) and submit it, together with your CV and a brief description of your achievement, to the Faculty of Social Communication and Media Studies of the University of Wrocław: Collegium Antropologicum, ul. Kuźnicza 35, ground floor, room 13 (the building next to the Main Building). Submit your application by 24 March! We are available Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The Academic Career Office, together with the Student Admissions Office, is proud to present a new video-podcast series, “UWr Talks: To be continued”. This unique series features conversations with alumnae and alumni of the University of Wrocław—now established professionals—who share the stories of their career paths, their experiences as students, and practical advice for current and prospective UWr students.
Thirty-three research groups, six awards with a total value of PLN 13,000, and countless activities, exhibits, mini-games, quizzes and attractions – all of this could be experienced on 4 December, when the everyday greyness and autumn drizzle were swept away by the largest and most colourful event dedicated to the student research groups of the University of Wrocław: the Scientific Associations Fair.
Fiasco Fest is a workshop dedicated to a constructive approach to failure in an academic career, aimed at doctoral candidates of the UWr Doctoral School. The event is held in Polish and is the result of collaboration within the ARQUS alliance under the project Fiasco Fest goes Arqus, funded by the Arqus Innovation Fund.
