    Among the new members of the Academy of Young Scholars and Artists is our doctoral student, Kacper Rosner-Leszczyński. Membership of the Academy is open to individuals under the age of 35 who have distinguished themselves with outstanding academic achievements. Each term of office lasts five years.

Each neuron can form connections with thousands of others, creating a network of trillions of synapses. These connections determine the brain’s capabilities – they are what make it so extraordinary.     From 24 to 29 August 2025, the University of Wrocław will host a prestigious international event, a combined conference of EUCMOS (European Congress on Molecular Spectroscopy) and EMPOC (European Meeting on Physical Organic Chemistry).

    On 21 August 2025, the University of Wrocław signed an agreement with P.B. Alfa Dach Sp. z o.o. for the construction of the Polish–Ukrainian Cooperation Centre, a facility that will include teaching areas and a library for the Faculty of Historical and Pedagogical Sciences (specifically, the Institute of Musicology). The building will be located at ul. Kuźnicza 29b.

    People who meet their partners on the internet may experience lower marital satisfaction and feel love less intensely than those who meet in person. At least, that is what emerges from research conducted by an international team of scientists led by dr Marta Kowal from the UWr Institute of Psychology.
