    Applications are open until 31 August for the third edition of the IDUB Teaching Award. In this article, we present an interview about didactics in the administration field with the winner of the IDUB first edition teaching award – dr hab. Magdalena Tabernacka, prof. UWr from the Institute of Administrative Sciences. Prof. Tabernacka received IDUB teaching award also for co-authoring the publication “Europa, dialog i perspektywy młodych ludzi w zwierciadle wyników badań prowadzonych w projekcie GANESA”.

    An international research team led by dr Łukasz Stachnik from the Institute of Geography and Regional Development at the University of Wrocław argues that valley glaciers may make an important contribution to the supply of nutrients to Arctic ecosystems.     We returned safe and sound, enchanted by the Arctic, full of energy and ready for new challenges. It’s hard to capture in a short text all the wonderful moments we experienced up there in the far north. Perhaps these recollections in the form of a logbook (yes, we kept one) can convey at least some of the emotions we felt.

    Among the new members of the Academy of Young Scholars and Artists is our doctoral student, Kacper Rosner-Leszczyński.
